Pitfalls to avoid:

When you see towns on the map such as Bedrock, don’t count on finding
a place to stay. The town of Bedrock is a "WYSIWYG" kind of
town-a store with a mobile home behind it. There are many towns like this
one along the scenic highways and roads of Colorado. Wagon Wheel Gap is a
wagon wheel with a mobile home park, Sargents, lying on the west-side of
Monarch Pass, has a sign on the store-front that says, "Elevation
high, population few." It speaks the truth!
Some signs you may come
across are ambiguous at best:
To drink, or not to drink?
